Yup, 7th Heaven. It went through the whole countdown to goodbye and everything, and then when the network released the fall line up, it was still there with brand new episodes. But then the network changed for the WB to the CW, so that might have something to do with it.

I was so hoping that it would have been an April Fool's joke, but I guess I was wrong. I have heard the rumors for months and just thought to myself until CBS announces it, I don't believe it. Then sure enough CBS announces it and breaks my heart! They were just saying that GL was renewed for the 2009-2010 season, but I guess they think canceling it will be better. I am just so shocked, I will be so sad when GL comes to an end. I have been watching for about 13 years, this sounds silly but I will miss the cast. It will be like losing old friends, I grew up with some of the characters and it is just so sad. I know that recently the camera work and the story lines have gotten really bad, but I still continued to show my support. I really hope that some how they find a way to keep this historical show on TV. I have emailed them, but I am not sure how much that will do. I hope the ratings get up there and then they can stay. I will continue to show my support for all the great Actors/Actresses that have made this show so great for so many years. I wish them all the best of luck. I am just so shocked, I am at a loss for words. It will be a sad day when GL turns out the light!

There have been a few. Sometimes one network dumps a show, another picks it up and it is more successful. Heather K is right about 7th Heaven--that is the one I thought, but there have been others.
