I want to schedule a get-together event for a group of people. Often times it's a difficult task to decide on a date and place. Is there any publicly available tool for help me do that?

The group can be some former colleagues, or a random group of friends.

It's hard not knowing exactly what kind of group or event that your getting ready to start, then I'm sure there is a reason for that as well. Do you know of any groups in your area...such as AA, NA, OA, bridge clubs...etc, you might be able to ask one of those groups how they started out. I know a lot of their meetings are held at churches, and it was someone who went to the pastor to see if they could have a group their, and sometimes you can ask a preacher of such a place to have one. I belong to CMA and currently we are having meeting at McDonalds and many times Shoney's will allow people use their place as well. Then again theirs your place or someones elses till you get started, and then you can post flyers in your area as well...such as post offices, libraries, grocery stores , some gas stations, laundromats..etc. It's hard for me to offer info not knowing the nature of the event.
