I am so sorry for your troubles , do you go to church ? Even if you do not , there are Church's that will help a family in need . Try a Baptist Church , when my brother and his family needed help , it was a Baptist Church that help them out , and they are not even Baptist , the Church heard about their need , and went to their door with help , food , money , and love . God bless , and I will pray for you and your family , please e-mail me and let me know if I can help , or if this info helps.

Whatever you do, don't be tempted to borrow money from one of these online lending sources. But it sounds as if you are going to need a leg up for something longer than a couple of weeks. If you have a bank where you have an account (however small) go talk to them, explain your situation and ask if they can make you a loan for a short while, with a deferred start to repayments.
You have just come out of hospital. Most hospitals as far as I am aware, have a social services department with trained, knowledgeable workers who may well be able to guide you to the right place where you might be eligible for some kind of financial help in view of your circumstances, and the fact you have dependent kids.
There are often sources of help out there for people in special situations, that they don't broadcast the existence of, so nobody knows about them. You just have to put yourself out there and make enquiries from as many sources as seem likely to have this kind of information. Smart people know the difference between somebody just on the bum, and someone like yourself with a genuine temporary hardship caused by no fault of yours. Do try to tap these sources, and I am sure you will discover a channel for the assistance you need.

The hospitalfinance office can give you some names of local help groups that have helped people get back on their feet, from experience. Try also the church groups. Check the yellow pages under charities and contact them all as you have nothing to lose. There are other groups out there but start here and go from there. Good luck and am praying for you for a speedy recovery and help

If you income is low, you may be able to apply for medi -cal . The hospital that treated you will file for you. Go to their human resource dept and inquire. I once had food poisening and spent 1 1/2 days in the hospital, it cost 22thousand and I only had to pay 300.00 through medi- cal. Check it out. Take Care
