my computer has now power at all.

Make sure that the plug on the back of the power supply itself is inserted securely and that the switch on the back of the power supply is in the "on" position. Make sure that the power strip switch is on or that the wall socket has power to it and a circuit breaker hasn't been tripped.

Start by trying a different power cord. Most computer power cords are universal and sometimes the same as a printer or fax power cord. If that doesn't work then most likely a new power supply (inside the CPU case) is needed. You can pick one up at any computer store (CompUSA, etc...) They aren't too expensive and not very difficult to install if you're mechanically inclined at all.

See if there is a problem with the power cord,it may have a short.

Then, get a new power supply, or, if your lucky, it's just not plugged in.
