Wes Craven's Shocker. Stars Mitch Pileggi as Horace Pinker. Horace is a serial killer who has figured out how to incorporate the energy from the electric chair to become unkillable and (I think) move through power lines. Mitch was Assistant Director Skinner from the X-Files. Can't remember if it was any good. From my description, I'd say no.

How about Monsters Ball with Billy Bob, Haley Berry, Heath Ledger, and Sean "P Diddy" Combs. Billy Bob fries P Diddy and then gets with Haley Berry.

There are actually two movies called the "electric chair", but for good measure watch the "Faces of Death" series. It is featured multiple times.

It is an old movie, but it was called "I WANT TO LIVE" starring
Susan Hayward, quite the tear jerker, as they described every step of it to her, and to have a woman executed.

I think there was one called Shocker about a failed execution. Actually, I think the condemned man came back from the dead to get revenge. It is gruesome.
