I told my close female friend that I needed time apart from her---not for good, only for a short while(time limit not set). Also asked her to be honest (for once) if she felt anything for me--wud she take this as me calling her a liar???
I had to get over my feelings for her as she only only wanted to be friends and said she "don't deserve my feelings".

It's been 1 month, I've tried to get in touch: by text\phone\sent a card+gift--have apologised for my behaviour, said that her friendship a lot to me -- no response from her yet...

How would a girl feel after hearing this???Hurt???Angry???

Will she ever speak to me again???

How long would she consider "no contact" as being for??? Will she ignore me for good???

Will she 'eventually' get in touch? A few months?

WHAT CAN I DO TO SHOW HER HOW MUCH SHE MEANS TO ME+THE FRIENDSHIP???

she is probely felt hurt when you told her you needed space, so youve just got to give her some time for work through her feelings. she will probably come round sooner or later but if she doesnt is your friendship really worth it! good luck hunni xx

Well first of all - if she had feelings for you she would have told you after you told her how you felt. The thing about not deserving your feelings is an easy way of letting you down basically. I've told guys things like "I'm not ready to get involved because I've had some recent bad experiences with guys". To which they respond by trying to tell me I shouldn't be scared, I can trust them, etc. - which does no good, because I was just trying to tell them I wasn't interested without hurting their feelings.

She may have a new boyfriend, and that is why she hasn't gotten back to you. Whatever it is, if you and her were truly friends, she'll come around and want to be your friend again eventually, just give it time. BUT what was your friendship based on? Too often guys become friends with girls because they find the girl attractive. That isn't a real friendship. Just keep that in mind.

To be honest, I'd have decided that the friendship wasn't worth anything after a few days of contact, so maybe she is feeling like this?

The only think you can do is to keep making contact, and explain to her why yu did what you did. Have you written her a letter stating exactly why you did not talk to her?

She will have been hurt, cos us girls are all emotional with out friends and stuff, so she will be slightly annoyed/ maybe thinking that you were accusing her of something.

Keep contacting her! Never give up on your friends. If she really is a close friend she will eventally respond.

She probably does value your friendship, but I dont think she wants to hurt you and by not hurting you, she refuses to reply to your messages. You got to let go and move on, if she misses you enough, she will be back in contact with you. Dont put your life and time on hold.

It sounds to me like having a long distance relationship should be considered your time apart and by the sounds she is calling it quits and you should be able to figure that out on your own.

If you cannot honor her wish only to be friends, then stay away as she doesn't feel the same way about you. It hurts I know but in the long run it will save you alot of pain.

i wouldn't feel hurt or angry but i would be sure that you are feeling this way because now she know that what you really want is a relationship with her and she doesn't feel the same way so i know its hard but try to leave her alone and forget about maybe she will come after you but maybe not

I feel you should leave well enough alone and then maybe she'll try getting in touch with you when she's ready.
