I'm not muslim. but in my belief we are to cry when there is a birth because the child will have a long hard life ahead of it self. when some one dies we are not to cry, their suffering is over. those people was celebrating his death because of what he did. that is a different culture then area's. who are we to judge. let god take care of them. fear not what they can do to your capsule, fear for what they can do to your spirit.

I think that it's interesting how, just a few years ago, it seemed that the average American wanted as many muslims or Iraqis to suffer as possible... and yet now the same people who were ranting about how we should level the place are now saying how worthless of a creep he was because of what he did to some Arab peoples. I think he did not deserve to die, or else all world leaders who wage wars and kill thousands should be hanged equally and desecrated equally, especially the American president. I believe that, if you combine the numbers killed by American attacks with all of the people that have and will die because of sectarian violence that AMERICA is responsible for, they have done far worse things than Saddam ever did. He may have killed thousands, but his iron-fisted rule over those people prevented them from killing each other in far greater numbers, and now this is coming to fruition right before our eyes. I think humanity is not a characteristic of any of what is going on in the middle east, on any side of the conflict.

Saddam Hussein WAS admired by MOST Australian Wheat-Farmers, We WERE once, along with the running of vast numbers of toopa / sheep: about 10,000 animals-on-average per farmer;
We WERE THE Ruling Class, up untill 'the Mining Boom',, , , -the first-of-which began in the period before the Global Credit Squeeze,
-of 1971..
I spend quite some time, travelling Australia, and in 10 yers I am yet to find a Rural enemy of the previous Iraqi Baathist Govt,
Thet bought about HALF of this countrie's WHEAT: aprox
$500,000,000 -worth, annually. It went a loooong way IN keeping Aussie communities, ALIVE
WHO has tis ENTIRE MARKET, NOW?
It has been taken from us in a sleight-of-hand -by our very "ALLIES": The Republican American Administration -with,one George Bush as its Mouth.
A few short weeks ago this land of heavily subsidised farmers, and near totally incompetent Military.. STOLE our ENTIRE Peoples' Republiic of China [traditional] Grain Market!! (What "Allies"!)

Bad Guy???? Compared to who, maybe Mother Teresa, but he was a choir boy if you contrast him with several American Presidents. And as for being a man, how many could face sure death like Saddam. Picture Bush up there, what a joke. Iraq deserves what it got for not supporting Saddam and Iraq will be just like Beirut for many years to come.

you are able to desire to comprehend the form of existence over there. The Arab way of existence is a "seeing is believing" form of way of existence. in case you merely tell them that somebody as infamous as Uday and Qusay Hussein, or Al-Zarqawi is lifeless, they probable won't have faith you. while the militia places those people's photos on the information, they are offering an insurance to the Iraqis that those people are particularly lifeless.

For many of those people fear was what they had instilled in them!! Even with him in prison they is still the fear of him. Like the person who has been abusive and court order are their to protect them. However the fear of him still exist! He is dead! He nor longer can harm them! So they danced and sung not because he was dead but because the fear is dead!!!

Wow, this was a murdering dictator that killed hundreds of people, even killed members of his own family. His country was in such an oppressed state, everyone was scared of him. He was one of the most horrible dictators of our time, and you compare a bunch of his countrymen happy to finally be free of him, saying they aren't any different than him.
Murderous Dictator * People Dancing Happy to Finally be Free
I'm sorry, I just don't see ANY similarity, after years and years of oppression people are justified in a little release of happiness.
