Denver, Colorado--where I live. If it wasn't my favorite place in the world I wouldn't live there. I was born and raised in the boring old suburbs and I intend on living in those boring old suburbs for the rest of my life. You grow to love places deeply and the history and heritage you have in a town leads you make it your favorite.

If I had to pick one other place it would be Israel. That place is unbelievably diverse and awesome. From modern Tel Aviv to sacred Jerusalem it is a must-see for everyone.
