Mine is running at around 50 degrees celcius, this seems high compared to what I'm reading. What is wrong?

60 degrees celsius is as high as the Core 2 Duos are supposed to be running. It depends on where you are getting your temps from, if it is from Speed Fan or from some software that came with your motherboard, they usuall measure the temperature higher than it actually is. This software will give you a much more accurate reading:http://www.thecoolest.zerobrains.com/CoreTemp/
I would say that if you are using the stock cooler, that is slightly high, but nothing to be worried about.

All computers should be at no more than 10 degrees higher than room temperature but don't worry if its a little bit overheated just make sure it has good air circulation at all sides of it!
