I love monroes. To me they're the new "it" girl piercing and most people can pull them off.
I would suggest a monroe or even medussa (its like a labret, but in the tear drop over your top lip instead). Very girly piercings that both look awesome.
Of course it will hurt a little, or maybe bad, depends on your pain tolerance.
Some people think its a pinch, some will feel more than that pinch.
Don't fret over it though. Just remember the piercing will be over and done in seconds and the pain really won't matter in the end. And breeeeath. Your piercer will tell you that though. ;)

It is a personal decision, just remember that the initial jewelry that you will need to wear is a little longer then you might expect, to accomidate for any swelling that may happen, and it may stick out a little. That is most of my client's complaints when they get either of those piercings done.

Someone is sticking a needle through your flesh. Of course it hurts. But the pain is the point, isn't it? The jewelry is just a souvenir.
