On average, around $100 a credit hour, per semester. Unfortunately, I have to use the "DEPENDS" word, because it all depends on what state you live in. But my rough guess is $100 per credit hour, on the semester plan. Most if not all community colleges have a web site - check out the schools in your area. Good luck!

Well it kind of does depend on where you live. If there are many community colleges in an area to choose from the cost won't be as much as if there were only one or two. I live in Dallas where there are many community colleges. Typically a three hour class will cost around $200, not including books which can cost anywhere from $50 to $200. But colleges will have specials like any other business, where you can enroll at discounted costs. I took a three hour communications class for about $100. But lowest cost doesn't necessarily mean the best deal. You want to get the most for your money so do your homework. (no pun intended) Good luck.
