I have IE 7 on my computer and its got all those bells and whistles? You know the one that has the tabs you can have different pages up. But half my stuff wont come up with this one and they keep telling me to upgrade my IE, but it IS upgraded. How can I go back to one that doesnt have all this **** on it and will do what I want it to do, mainly show webpages and not give me that annoying message about page cant be displayed.

I know i think its crap as well, as far as i'm aware you can't get rid of it to go back to IE 6. My advice would be to download firefox as i find it much better and its proven to be safer.

All you have to do is remove it from your Add and Remove Programs list. Your previous version will be back.

go to start bring up help and support.look for restore settings.pick a date to go back to when u had none on these
press start. then help -support

Go to control panel, add/remove programs and uninstall it.
