You cannot "repair " the lcd screen. It will need to be replaced. They can be expensive. I replace them all the time.

Hi Frederik, You have a few options here, Depending on the age of the laptop. First is scrap it and get a new one. If it is old its not worth your time, you will not be able to wipe it away unfourtanatly as the liquid crystal you are seeing is what makes up your picture. Second option is to pay for someone to fix it. This will cost at an estimate 100-150 pounds (if you get a good deal) some shops / outlets charge more. Third option would be to change the screen yourself. This is not as complicated as it may seem, You will have to ensure you purchase the correct replacement part (have a look on ebay). Ususally its 2/3 data cables and a load of screws to take the screen out of the housing. (im sure there will be guides on youtube).

You must replace it. If your computer is still under warranty, you may be able to replace it for no cost. P.S. DON'T TELL THEM YOU DROPPED IT!
