What's up with this 'light-skinned' crap. You are black you freak!!! Get that through your uneducated head. You are so stupid and ignorant. I feel sorry for you because you are not in the class of any black person at all. You and your stupid self are BENEATH us.

I'm gonna have to agree with E=mc2 here.

Well - perhaps mulatto would be a better term to begin with for "light-skinned blacks.'' I think the main issue is that blacks face worse conditions than mulattos.

To a degree, we are moving towards "reverse racism" where people are allowed to be mad at people lighter than them, or better off, or better treated etc. So a black might be able to discuss his issues/problems openly without being "racist," a mulatto can only do that to white people --- and white people have to shut up - lol.

I think this is a bad thing - I think we would have less racial tension if we could all openly talk about ourselves and each other - and just learn to laugh at our differences.

In a way, this modern situation has made being mulatto much worse as they now face discrimination from both sides - not treated as white by whites, nor black by blacks.

I've wondered that myself. Not just that, but it seems a lot of light skinned and dark skinned blacks don't get along BECAUSE of their skin?

It's one of those double standards we keep hearing about. Don't let words bother you, just treat other's the way you want to be treated even if it's met with insults. At least YOU are doing the right thing.
