Hi! Am from Mumbai and going to Jaipur for the first time. Would anyone please advice me about things to buy and good places to shop there?

Jaipur is considered THE PLACE for shopping.It is famous for gems,jewellery,silver articles,block print textiles e.g.Tie and dye,Bagru prints.Leather products like jutian etc.Emboridered textiles,wool and silk carpets,marble products,brass items,miniature paitings,blue pottery,hand made paper,sandal wood products,Jaipuri quilts,puppets etc..There is no specific stores for them.You have to spend time at various stores and markets.I am from Jaipur.Any help required,do get in touch !

You can visit Hawamahal and many Historical and royal Palaces there. When I visited Jaipur I visited many Royal palaces. I bought many things as memory of the royal Jaipur. In Jaipur there is a street named vaishali nagar I bought some precious stones from a store named A to Z Diamond Jewellers and then I bought a painting of Royal Palace.

I have some strong reasons to Love the Bus Stand at Sindhi Camp, Vaibhav Mall at Vaishali Nagar and Kanchan Kesari Resorts on Ajmer Road. I am not gonna tell those reasons publically. ;)

BEST PLACE TO VISIT IS MI ROAD JAIPUR ,FORT OF JAIPUR ,HAWA MAHAL AND ZOO. BEST THING TO BUY IS JAIPUR RAJAI.

you can get really nice puppets, dresses, and they are known for their jewels , i think....have fun!!
