guitar hero 2 is better...the songs are better and there are more of them. but guitar hero 1 is also good check the songs out and see what one you like the most

I think they are both great! They have different songs though so it might depend on which songs you like better, but overall they are about the same.. I have Guitar Hero 2 and it is really fun, but i have also played Guitar Hero 1 and it is also a blast! So maybe you should try them both out and see which one you prefer...

i liked gutair hero 1 better because it had more songs that i knew. lol.
