i like this instructor who works at the local gym, Whenever i go there, he always chats to me for about 45 mins to an hour on a one to one about all kinds of stuff, he always asks me to go in when he is working, he tells me the times of when he was working and asks me to go in and see him. He came into the gym looking for me once too. He has given me compliments and also walked me to my car the once, and I never notice him talking to any other girls! He has a girlfriend but has recently split with her, and he told my friend that he knows that i like him and that he doesnt want to lead me on, so now I'm really confused, it really seemed like he liked me, could it be it's too soon for him? do you think he likes me at all?

If he told your friend he doesn't want to lead you on, I'm afraid yes, that implies all is not rosy. Maybe he has other issues and it's not quite black and white. First think, can you totally trust this friend? Is she interested in him? You get alot of stories about members of staff trying to be friendly to encourage members to keep coming back. Realistically think to yourself if it is just this. I think the best thing to do would be to ask him outright. If it's negative, get over him/join another gym! If it's good, disown that 'friend' of yours!

I would be alittle cautious of him he seems alittle off kilter. I wonder why split up from his last girl friend. If he's so interested in you that he tells and does these things he should have asked you out. On the other hand if he doesn't want to lead you then why do this to make you think hes interested when he isn't.

He's paid to be friendly. It's his job. Just like those friendly bartenders and waitresses. Now, if the mailman talks to you for 45 minutes, then I'd say that he likes you. Your gym instructor treats every woman the same way.

well coming from my point of view hey may like u but he is also exploring other oppurtunites with other women. but he may also think that he isnt ready and is just tryin to ease into the situation without going to fast. i had several girls do this to me only to find out that they were playin me and leading me on, so be carefull whatever u do. the best way is just to ask him if he could ever see hiself with u. good luck

I think he likes you....
But maybe you should continue with your friendship for a while
and maybe get to know him a little better..
then once its obvious that he has something for you you could go for it
but you should always become really really good friends first
and maybe give him a call sometime if you havent done that already

he is probably just being friendly, and when he says he does not want to lead you on believe him, leave the situation and if he decides to come to you then let it be but keep on walking and dont look back on him... if he knows that you like him he would have done something by now, atleast he says he does not want to lead you on, so just leave it be

If he can talk to you for an hour about anything, and he followed you to your car, he probably likes you. he might have split with his gf because of you. If you do like him just keep it going for awhile like you have and see where it goes.

Don't waste your time with him until he has not strings attached. I've been in the situation when a guy has had someone else and trust me its nothing but heartache. Don't be second when u can be 1st.

If he likes you he should ask you out so you can get to know him,, See if he your kind of guy. Don't be just a seman receptacle.

honestly i think he likes you but just as like a really good friend. just pretend like you only like him as a friend too(it might be hard but it works) and after a while either he might like you or you wont like him anymore:) it sounds kinda mean but i really hope everyting works out for you
