Related to my other questions, I'm writing a simple OS, it'll be a long time before I get to much graphics, but I'll try & find out now. I've been writing some graphics code in assembler, but I can't find out how to get a resolution higher that 640 x 480 - which is fairly useless.
If you have any questions about my question, please message me before answering.

That completely depends on the card.
I'm reaching faaar back now, but I believe you
have to find the interrupt for the address of the card,
and place a certain value into the "resolution" address.

Good luck finding the documentation for the card!

Unless your video card has an on board BIOS extension you'll have to load a driver for it. The BIOS extension or driver will contain INT10 (video BIOS) call extensions to kick the graphics card into higher res modes.

you may not in case you have 2 o's on each complicated force you will possibly be able to desire to choose one on boot up yet whilst there on sepret complicated drives you will possibly be able to desire to consistently disconnect considered one of them an basically use the single you employ the main and in case you have chose to apply the different one only connect it i used to be hoping that helped!
