I understand their are humans who write in their own style but isn't this venue about answering questions based on individuals knowledge. Many of our leaders use words not appropriate for others, this is a world where we should be free to express ourselves accordingly.

Have they removed some of your answers and deducted your points? This forum is more a family forum and it is acceptable that some language be forbidden, lest we corrupt our kids. It is also important that our answers show respect to others - even though we differ. My only issue with Yahoo is that reporting abuse is open to abuse. The process is automated and anybody can just send information against your answer and Yahoo generate a response without physical check on the validity of the report, and your answer is removed. They have a button which you can use to lodge an appeal against the decision, but appeals are never responded to!

I agree with you to a point, but not 100%. There are some things that are simply not appropriate.

That's the same argument that child molesters and child pornographers use. Them and people who discriminate against others and denigrate others for things they can't help, like their skin colour or where they were born or how they were born.

Do you think that they should be allowed to express themselves "accordingly". Not I.

I don't think that our answers are controlled by Yahoo Answers but there are people among us who are not happy with some of the answers that they read and complain about the contents and without adequately reviewing the merit of the objection Yahoo arbitrarily deletes the questions or answers and I think that's is something that need to be addresses.

Since Yahoo removes some questions as inappropriate and limits certain words through scr**ning, we don't really have total freedom of speech. In most societies we don't either. There are restrictions, like not yelling "Fire" in a crowded theater.
