I think 60's fashion will be big for spring 2007! Longer shorts, sleek lines, geometric shapes, I know the big glasses are out, smaller ones are making a comeback. For spring we're doing more Audrey Hepburn/Lucille Ball/Twiggy and less 70's/earthy/crunchy/3's company.
Fashion is about fun above all though, so always wear what you feel comfortable in and what you will enjoy wearing!

1. Neutral Colors: Once again, white is the color du jour. Muted shades and neutral colors dominated the runways from the majors to the indies.

2. Controlled Volume: Detailing such as ruffles, ruching, and pintucking added volume to silhouettes in a modest way.

3. Bubble Silhouette: Looks like bubble skirts are sticking around through next Spring. Wear with caution, as the bubble shape doesn't flatter large hips. (Although, bubbles are big for fall at the moment so I'm not sure how they will transition into spring.)

4. Trapeze Silhouette: A nod to Christian Dior's 1958 Trapeze Line, the silhouette was seen in tops, dresses, and outerwear.

5. Shorts: From Daisy Dukes to knee-length styles, shorts are making another comeback just in time for Spring.

Shirts: gray, brown & blue, black, red & black, and green & brown. The new trend is short jacket sleeves and long shirt sleeves that you can see under the jacket. you know, like with the shirt sleeve coming out of the jacket sleeve.
pants: JEANS will always be in. Black is also not too bad. My suggestion is always wear jeans, but if you have to wear regular pants, make sure they're either cropped or gaucho.
skirts: brown, black, and denim minis.

lol imagine skinny denims in flesh tones :) have you ever considered the shirts that light up or play song? I <3 graph paper print. i imagine human beings will go lower back to what they were wearing contained in the 90s because as we communicate were wearing a good number of stuff from the 80s and fashions cycle like that.
