I would like to create the most emotional gift for my husband to celebrate our anniversary. I was thinking about printing some of our pictures on a diamond! I found this great service in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The pictures on the diamond last forever (except if diamond is polished), are invisible to naked eye (can be seen with provided viewer). The diamond value is unchanged.
Here are some details:

What do you think about this service? Any other ideas?

This service is admirable. It could be an outstanding emotional gift.
There are very few people who think out of the box like you .There is a friend of mine that gave me a gift of sensitivity that not only touched my heart but is here to stay till my very last breath.I mean it is a real gift that brightened the life of the deprived.I shall never ever be able to erase this gift from my memory. He sponsored an eye surgery at one the Eye Center on behalf of me and got the Center to send a card to me with details of the gift.I was overwhelmed with such a sensitive gift.
Gifting vision is a great alternative idea. You have many other options like supplying medicine to a spastic child, bearing the cost of a child's cancer treatment at the Cancer Institute.
I am not against diamonds, but the money could have been usefully spent on donating meals to an orphanage or helping someone regain eyesight. It spreads so much of cheer.

"when someone goes through their life not caring at all about themselves or others. becomes spiritual and starts caring about things...is that a gift?" It's luck I suppose.Spirituality is simply emotional p0rn
