why do i feel shy to do everything?

try and avoid negative thoughts, distract yourself (positive self talk, music, refuting the negative thought), try to remember no one is perfect, desensitization is the best say to avoid anxiety, just thinking about the situation, or being in the situation over and over will reduce the anxiety.

My friend your problem is you were born human.

Being shy is normal.Lots if us out there. The way to overcome is to
1) get to know other shy people. Shy people are generally more friendly on the inside
2) get involved in activities you like and are interested in. Its more easy to talk in a familiar setting
3) try to overcome caring what other people think in excess. Hey i,m a bigger geek than you and once i stopped caring, it ceased to matter. To my surprise perhaps alot of my friends are very extroverted and normal although i have tons of shy friends. You acceot yoyrself then more people will accept you.

because you are sweet and know everyone else can be vicious. Find other people who seem shy and try a simple conversation. Or chum up with someone you look up to sometimes being around a free spirit helps you let down you guard plus they tend to lead, and that may get you places you wouldn't have gone to by yourself.

i'm exactly the same. you've just gotta tell yourself that what others think doesn't matter. you are the person you are, and if they don't like you, it's their problem. don't try to please others, do what you think is right. it's your life, and why should you care about others? besides, lots of people won't think anything negative about you unless they have a reason to.
