How can a band like the Beatles be over rated. Some of the best musicians in the world are influenced by the Beatles. Their music sells even today. They had millions of screaming fans all over the world. Their music is played in almost every country in the world on a daily basis. So in answer to your question, No they are not over rated.

No i don't believe there over rated, They were the best in there time, We had a few good groups back then. But the Beatles show us a new era for there kind of rock and roll.

No. It might seem so these days, because some of their tunes have not aged well. But in their early days, they were undoubtably the most important musical group in the world.

no - I think you had to be around for the Brit invasion to appreciate what a difference it made. without the Beatles you'd be sittin around listening to stuff that evolved form Elvis and various California surf rockers.

if you have to ask,,,that only means you are too young to truely respect what they have done in the music business,,,,I will take their music any day over the foul langauge "music"rap-crap I have to hear when a car pulls up beside me at a stop light,,,but then in 5-10 years that person will be deaf and can't hear anything!!
