Hey, everybody is a newbie sometime. We all were where you are at some point.
Anyway, I found that Crap Cleaner ( http://www.ccleaner.com/ ) is an excellent and free program that will get rid of unwanted cookies and temp files. You can choose which cookies to keep.

Just remove them all. I do that sometimes. Sure you will have to re-enter some passwords and settings but it's usually not too much. Another thing you can do is downlaod spy sweeper. They are the best program at what they do. They got good reviews from PC magazine so I bought it. I'm happy with it. At the time, it was the only spy software what was effective at blocking spywear live while it was happening. Others said they could but faild a lot of times.

first, you go to tools, and then go all the way down to internet options. Then you click "delete cookies", and/or "delete files". If you haven't done it in a while it may take long. I hope i helped! when you do it give me some feedback!
