Oh no how tragic! I say wait it out -- they may not be going out for long and you can still be friends with her and maybe go out with him in future.

I think he may have fancied your mate over you, that's why he backed away when he found out you liked him, and ended up with your mate instead. Never mind that, just pretty yourself up and be really nice and smart and attractive -- when he no longer fancies your friend, he'll be knocked out by you!

Bad News: Look he didnt have any trouble chatting up your friend did he, well that tells me he didn't fancy you. And what sort of friend are you that you would steal your friends boyfriend just because you saw him first. He didn't fancy YOU, that why he's dating your friend. He's not a lump of meat you can just pick and choose, he has a brain and can make decisions too! Now that doesn't mean you aren't a hot babe, just that you aren't his type and your friend is. And never ever let a man get between a girl's friendship. You aren't or shouldn't be in competion with your friend.

I don't mean to hurt you when I say this but, what makes you think you can steal this guy back, afterall he could have had you in the first place, but chose your best mate instead.

It's always upsetting not to get the fella you really like, especially when you still see him.
Even worse when he has chosen to go out with your best friend. So I do sympathise with you.

Trying to steal him back won't get you anywhere,in fact it may even lose you your best friend,so is it really worth it.

No dis-respect but I can tell by the way you write that your only young so you will have plenty of opportunities to meet someone else.

Always remember, boyfriends can come and go, but it's hard to find a good friend.Don't loose yours for the sake of hurt pride.

Good luck.

At what age does one start and finish these games?

Give you a clue / hint / free lesson about these things.

'Talking to the 'friend' is OFTEN a way of getting close to someone as you can who you like the look of when shyness suddenly breaks out.' HOWEVER....

....However However, it does not ALWAYS mean that. It can mean that s/he isn't interested in You, but instead finds the Friend more attractive - and is ignoring you (and everyone else for that matter) for obvious reasons.

So, maybe you have to straight to the point and announce that you find him 'attractive' ~ and see what happens, instead of messing about with 'games.'

Sash.

Oh I'm so sorry! I think you should tell your best friend. And I would NOT steal him back because if he liked your best friend then there is a good chance he'll try to cheat on you with her! So if your friend is really a good friend then she'll understand and try to back off of him and you both can just crush.

hope this helped :D

You told your friend that you didnt like this guy any more, so she probably thought it wouldnt bother you if they went out. You should leave them alone to get on with things. You missed your chance with this guy and if you tried to 'steal him back', then it doesnt make you a very good friend.

let it go because now if she is dating him then he is hers and you are stepping on her toes. You should not have told her you didn't like him anymore if you really did. Besides if you can steal him back you don't want him anyway because that means someone can steal him from you. As my granny used to say....you can't steal an unwilling heart!

just leave it cause you dont want to play that game and break things up. and you dont want to lose your bf over a guy. next time, speak up and look around you will find someone else or someone else will find your fancy!
