How do I play Donkey with donkey playing cards?

You begin by dealing all the cards to the players. Then one by one draw a card from the player beside you in a predetermined direction.If you draw a card which you have a match in your hand, you discard the pair. Keep doing this until the Donkey is left and the one holding the Donkey card is the Donkey.
