The smartest man in the world is probably some poor drooling soul with Asperger's Syndrome who has every book in the local library memorized verbatim and can factor prime numbers in his sleep, but can't tie his shoes or get a job. I think we still need to define intelligence before we can decide who's got the most of it.
And I think Stephen Colbert has him beat by a longshot, regardless of what measure of intelligence you're using!

Oh yeahhhhhhhhh...and he's..."looking out for you"...even though he's never covered the Jack Abramoff scandal and all the Republicans it's brought down, nor has he covered the evidence proving that 9/11 was an inside job. He's just a bloviating mouthpiece for the white House Talking Points network, Faux News. When you hear him yell, call guests names, cut the guest off, etc, etc, you know he's losing (lost) the debate...Nope, my tax dollar does not dance for...Bill O'.

hahahah. Do I sense some sarcasm? The man is opinionated, I'll give you that. But I consider him a pretty fair guy, and a smart one at best. The SMARTEST... eh I wouldn't go there. Bill O'Reilly is a self-important, self-inflated, legend in his own mind. He has never, in any public forum, truely debated the people that you name. He doesn't actually debate. He sets up mock debates in his controlled environments and when really pressed, resorts to outright insults, such as, "You're a moron" or "Everybody thinks your a loon anyway." These are not intelligent arguments. These are retreats from the real issues.

He sure thinks he's smart. I never heard of anyone else thinking he's smart.
I've heard him in interviews, denying that he said something. Then a tape is played of him saying exacttly what he denied saying. His logic is even more convoluted than Rush Limbaugh's.
