Well, maybe people think that poopface,buttmunch,slimeypants are weird names.
Or Jennifer Lopez's nickname is Jenny. They might mistake that for you.

So when you introduce your self make sure you tell them your name is Jennifer, and make all your friends aware of this if every one calls you Jennifer then most everyone else will too. My daughter's name is Jennifer, I call her Jen,
So Buttmunch why hate being called Jenny? it's a nice name I would find something more important to debate or try to change

HAVE YOU TRYED TO TELL PEOPLE THAT YOU DON'T LIKE BIENG CALLED JENNY. MAYBE IF YOU TELL THEM THEY WILL STOP CALLING YOU JENNY AND START CALLING YOU BY THOSE SILLY NAMES poopface or buttmunch or slimeypants.

It is because, if your name is Jennifer, it is a common nickname. I knew a lady when I was younger that was named Jennifer, and she also hated to be called Jenny. She always said that she was not a baby goat. She actually likes to be called "J". I also have a friend now who I call Jen. Hope this helps.

Most of my family calls me Jenny, I prefer Jennifer too. Online I get Jen alot but never Jenny :)

There is already one Jennifer in the site and she has been here a long time. Probably so they don't get you confused with the other. Plus Jenny is short for Jennifer.
