I am brazilian.
Pitanga is a tropical fruit. It is the same pumpkin form/shape and color, but similar to a grape size and texture.
I have chosen this Username because I have a Bonsai of Pitangas´s tree.

My name is Alison (that part is self explainatory).
The Of The Shire part? I'm a huge Lord of The Rings fan (call me a nerd if you wish). Hobbit's live in an area of Middle Earth called 'The Shire'. You may be aware that in the film version Galadriel refers to Frodo as Frodo of the Shire in Lothlorien, and I took my inspiration from that. I'm not physically like a hobbit, I'm actually 5'6" and have rather slender feet!
I really didn't put that much thought into it!
