How do I go about finding a person or corporation to adopt my family until I find a job? My husband beat me, went to jail, plead guilty, was convicted, lost his job and is divorcing me.

I am looking for a job (I have 14 years nonprofit management experience and a degree). Unfortunately, I’m trying to be able to keep the kids’ lives normal. I have two sons. One has a pervasive development disorder, ADHD and depression.

I know I will find a job, and have applied for social services temporarily. It’s just that the kids want to keep their house. We adopted five stray cats through the years and they are afraid we will lose them if we lose the house, which we will.

We’ve always paid our bills on time. We went from middle class to nothing on Nov. 24 and now I have no savings, after paying the lawyer and paying for living expenses.

I also need to find a way to get the two youngest kittens, that my now-gone husband adopted, spayed and declawed.

I would appreciate any

I don;t think anyone understands. The kids losttheir dad, lost their lufestyke and now are supposed to ditch their cats that they consider family members, too? That seems cruel.

Call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at (800) 799-SAFE (799-7233) to find out about domestic violence shelters and programs in your area.

I'd say your priorities need rethinking. I know you and the kids might love the cats, but your children need to come first. From what it sounds like, you are worrying about where your next meal might be coming from, so I'd say give the cats up for adoption instead of your family as a whole. I've been in pretty bad situations financially in years past, and it's all about prioritizing. Lose the cable, and all unneeded expenses. A lot of bills can be put on the back burner except rent, electric, water vehicle... You know. The costs of upkeeping animals seems trivial compared to what you might be facing. Good luck.

Start your own business - I recommend Forever Living Products - you can do as many or as few hours as you like and typically on 1-2 hours a day you will earn £1200 per month after 5 months and £30-£40k per year after 2-3 years - if you do more hours you should get more.

They are a $2 billion company growing at 25% per year and need a lot more people - no investment required also, regulated by Dti and Office of Fair trading and have investors in people award also.

I'm sorry this has happened but the first thing you need to do is get rid of the cats. cats cost a lot of money to keep and maintain. Tell your kids your sorry but this has to happen. Bring them to the animal shelter and explain why you can't keep the cats. Kittens should be adopted by a nice family in no time.

As for the other stuff sorry I can't help. but good luck.

I've found that local church organizations can help the best.

But personally you may need to forget the house. There are normally nonprofit groups specifically designed for victims of domestic violence. It's hard to give good info because I don't know what county and what state you are located in.

Depending where your from, you will have to go to the county seat where you live. There they will have assistance for you, for food, bills, job, etc. They will assist you almost immediately. Take advantage of it, everyone else does. We all pay taxes for this type of support. I just hope that you get a job soon and will be back on your feet again. It will take some time, but be patient.

While it may not be a job, you could check out my blog on some tips to earning money on the Internet, as well as a list of websites I actively use to earn the money. They are 100% free and scam-free. I have been paid by everyone. From a few of the websites, I earned a little over $200 for the month of December, but your earnings could be much greater.

http://www.swatcash.com/2147 < Using that website alone I have made over $100 in under a week. It's a really great website. You can earn cash as well as Paypal bonuses, Visa Gift Card's and they even have referral contests for cash, as well as giveaways for Nintendo Wii, Ipod Nano and PS3.

No corporation will adopt you or your family. Apart from the social services programs available where you live, you can only obtain further assistance from church organizations.

Call your church. no org will adopt you.

You are sitting there stressed and worried about taking care of your kids...Why do you have cats to feed? Find them homes Instead of trying to figure out how to pay to have them spayed and declawed.

You need to re evaluate your situation. I don't think you are thinking clearly!

Call a church. They usually have programs to help out. They might not with the cats, but with bills, clothing and food they might.
