You need some bacteria, the good stuff like acidolphilus. That's why they sell it at the health food store, so you can put more of the "good" stuff in and kill the "bad bacteria."
I had a "bad bacteria" at one point that was creating an ulcer in my stomach and the doctor had to give me a prescription for it but it worked and the bad bacteria cleared up. If you really have the bad stuff that causes ulcers, you should see a doctor.

The stomach is full of bacteria but you DO NOT want to get rid of that. There are good bacteria and bad bacteria. The bacteria that is in your stomach is the good kind. They help digest food.

Your stomach is full of bacteria, but they are supposed to be there, they help you digest your food, and get more nutrients out of it. People without bacteria in their stomachs suffer from all types of problems, so that's why you should eat lots of yogurt after taking antibiotics, it contains the helpful bacteria.

there are a lot of bacteria in the stomach. there good and there are bad ones. the good ones are needed to aid in our digestion . but the most notorious bad bacteria is the helicobacter pylori. studies showed that this bacteria can cause peptic ulcers that may bleed. there are also indications that this bacteria can predispose the lining of the stomach to gastric cancer.
you can get rid of this bacteria by oral medication only. some tests has to be done first before you start with the treatment.
you have to see your gastroenterologist.

Your body is comprised of normal flora, which is bacteria that naturally occur in your body. You do not want to get rid of this.
Certain bacteria, such as Escherichia coli, are naturally occuring in the digestive tracts. This is beneficial because it helps to break down food for digestion.

Easy answer... You don't!
We all need certain bacteria in our gut... They help digestion and even help to fight off certain infections... They are totally harmless to us themselves.
You can even buy products now that "top up" your bacteria levels so there obviously can't bee too much! (over here in the UK, there's Actimel, Yakult and a few other brands, but those are the main ones...)
Of course, not all bacteria are welcome, so if you mean those types, it's best to see a doctor and get some anti-biotics.
