How long can you wait after your child is born to fill out the birth certificate?

here in tennessee.usa when my child was born they gave me a applications to fill it and send it after the new born is one month old.but you can ask your doctor or nurse about that

Not sure about Pennsylvania, but I know that in Florida you must fill out forms before leaving the hospital, and the birth is usually registered within 5 days.
