Because he plays the team sport of Basketball like it's an individual sport.

Both the answers above me missed the point. Iverson has had plenty of good players around him in the NBA, but he loses because he is not a team leader. He is merely a good scorer. The mark of a true superstar is that he makes the players around him better; Iverson cannot even remotely do this. He is all about me, me, me. I'd take a selfless leader and playmaker like Steve Nash over Iverson anyday.

He's a winner, he took G'town to the elite 8 and the Sixers to the finals when both teams were mediocre at best. He has never played on a complete team so give him a chance!

He's been on teams that haven't produced too many results. In college he was on great players, but he hasn't been able to get going yet with Denver. Once Carmelo Anthony comes back from his suspension, he'll move to the top.

he always lose because all the four starter left on the team for him is not good enough but you dont have to wait a lot longer before he get to the finals again because when carmelo comes back is going to be all denver

Because he has never had a team around him. If you look at the one time he did have a team that complemented his playing style (in
01) they ran into a legitimate dynasty in the Lakers.
