if you find the lyrics online you can see that in the verses before the 'i wont do that bit' the woman is saying all the things that she's worried he's going to do (or not do) and in response to that he's saying 'i wont do that', then when she starts saying near the end of the song will you do this and that and love me forever blah blah blah he says 'i can do that'. it's a pretty weird song really
