I think coach Parcels should never have allowed the game to come to that last play! With seven minutes left Parcels picks A wide dangerous pass play to Terry Glen on the 1 yard line? come on!!!!!!!!
I had a bad vibe when Terry Glen got stripped of the ball in our own end zone I knew then we were going to lose.
Peace,

Well, I don't think you can really blame either. It was just horrible luck.

Think of it this way - if Romo didn't play the way he did this year, the Cowboys likely wouldn't have even be in the Wild Card in the first place. And if Parcells wasn't there, I don't think they'd be even a contender right now. Both of them contributed to the success of the year. Every team has its misfortunes. The Cowboys are a good team that really had a chance to make some moves in the postseason, and things just didn't pan out.

So many other plays could have gone the Cowboys way last night that wouldn't have made it a one point game and put them in that situation. Owens dropping passes, the Glenn fumble, Barber not converting on 3rd and 1 and ending up with only the FG instead of a possible TD... Romo flat out mishandled the placement, you can't blame the guy for it, he's had a great year under a tremendous microscope and put them in this position.

No one feels worse about it than he does. I feel bad for the Cowboys and I was actually rooting for the Seahawks, and watching that postgame press conference was gut-wrenching.

They'll be back. I agree, it was a tough way to end the postseason, but at least they were in it!

Bill Parcels was trying to use as much time as possible and he did. But on 4th down with less than 2 minutes in the playoffs you take the points, especially if the field goal is the distance of an extra point. Romo should have never had the chance to fumble the ball had Parcell's kicked the field goal.

Both....the coaches usually signal the plays to the quarterback, unless the quarterback has reached the level of being able to call
his own plays. The safety the Cowboys to make the score 20-15
Cowboys gave up was the ultimate difference in the football.
Even if Romo didn't cross the goalline, all he had to do was get
inside the 2 to get first down. The play before that, where they were stopped just short of the first down was huge. It prevented Dallas from running down the clock to set up for a field goal attempt in the dying seconds. The point I'm trying to get at is the Cowboys ended up losing a game they should have probably won if you consider the factors. They had the game in their hands, with the chance to win under their control, and they let that chance slip away. The good thing for the Cowboys is they
will probably get another chance, because they will likely contend
again next season.

I don't think that a screen pass to a reliable receiver is that dangerous of a play. Remember that Parcels went for it on 4th down that lead to a 32yd completion pass and eventually a touchdown. I am sure everyone thought he was a genius after that play.

Hindsight is always 20/20. Also one play never wins or loses a game.

Lots of people are just as much to blame really -- if Terry Glen hadn't fumbled earlier Dallas would've had the lead. But YOU get the blame when your screw up is in the final seconds and it's clear that the game hinges on the outcome of that one play, that's just the way it is. Besides, a kick placement is so common and easy it should be automatic ... that's not a mistake you're supposed to make.

It was not a good game plan but Romo made some bad decision. Most os the blame has to go to Romo

Coaches fault. It's the playoffs and you kick the field goal that was the distance of an extra point. Bill screwed up. It should have been him crying and not Romo.

A very error filled game, but it all comes down to the bad hold on the field goal, and that will define the whole season, like it or not.

Maybe so, but at the end of the day, that FG attempt was screwed by Romo. He has to take the blame.
