Wow, I am surprised that all these people do not know who they are. I for one, do not like them but at least I know who they are. My husband on the other hand though, likes them a lot. I would say they are one of his favorites. My two and three year old kids seem to like it a lot too when he listens to it.

Cake are absolutely brilliant! Fashion Nugget is my favourite album, especially Italian Leather Sofa and The Distance; but Prolonging the Magic is pretty great as well.

I saw them a few years ago at South by Southwest music festival and had a great time at thir show. Been a fan ever since.

I've got their single the Distance from years ago which was good. Haven't heard anything else by them tho' sorry.

not just you. my sister like them. i like there version of 'i will survive' dont know much else but id say they are a good band. my sis has good taste!
