* STEP 1: Pour cola on the oily or dry stained areas, and leave the cola on overnight. Squirt a generous amount of dishwashing liquid into a bucket until you have a good lather. Rinse with the soapy water, then with a garden hose.
* STEP 2: Sprinkle baking soda or an absorbent powder such as cornmeal or sawdust on the oily spots. If the stain is dry, wet it first to make a scouring paste. Scrub with a stiff brush or push broom.
* STEP 3: Sprinkle automatic dishwasher detergent on the oily concrete. Leave it for several minutes, then pour boiling water on the stained area. Scrub with a stiff brush or push broom, then rinse.
* STEP 4: Try a commercial concrete cleaner such as Garage and Driveway Cleaner by Red Devil Co. or a grease solvent such as Benzine. Follow the manufacturer's instructions.
* STEP 5: Sprinkle trisodium phosphate (TSP) on the oily concrete. If the stain is dry, wet it first. Let it stand for 30 minutes. Scrub using a stiff broom. TSP is a dangerous product; if you must use it, wear rubber or latex gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing. Also, never wash a TSP product down storm drains.
* STEP 6: As a last resort, combat tough spills with muriatic acid and a pressure washer. Apply the acid following the manufacturer's directions, and let it soak for several seconds. Follow with a pressure washer set at 2,500 to 3,000 lbs. per square inch (psi), or 176 to 211 kg per square cm. Like TSP, muriatic acid is a dangerous product; likewise, if you must use it, wear rubber or latex gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing, and never wash such a product down storm drains.
* STEP 7: After trying any of the strategies above, sprinkle baking soda over the cleaned area to neutralize the solution you've used.

* Seal concrete to prevent staining. See How to Seal a Garage Floor.

most degreasers are diluted blue butyl, the active ingredient. i have found castrol super clean to be the best if you can't find a source like a janitorial supply house to sell to you. wear rubber gloves as it will take the oils out of your skin, too. goggles and a mask if you plan to spray. i build a dam around the stain out of kitty litter, then pour on the castrol sc, let it sit a bit, then scrub with a stiff bristle broom, or wire brush if it's really bad. cover with more litter to soak up the hazardous waste, when dry scoop into plastic bag and wash the spot again, rinse and that's as good as you will be able to get it. beyond that you may need to hire some house cleaning service with a big pressure washer. good luck, hope this helps!

What i exploit on oil depending stains of all 'a lengthy time period' (even after drying in) is sunrise Dishwashing cleansing soap (not the belongings you employ on your dishwasher, the commonplace stuff used for handwashing dishes). Use really a DAB on each stain spot (as you already know, dish cleansing soap is meant to foam up like mad and also you do not desire a foaming mess even as doing laundry). What I do is stumble upon a small quantity (as small as i can and nevertheless be able to rub it into the oily stain spot), then I enable it sit for some hours and launder as favourite. I do nevertheless use my commonplace laundry cleansing soap contained in the load of laundry. I easily have run right into some circumstances the position a stain change into fairly troublesome to get out - I dealt with with the dish washing cleansing soap and folded the article so the dealt with area change into to the 'interior' (not uncovered to different clothing) and tossed it into the laundry basket the position it sat for further or less 5 days till it change into time to do laundry. Low and behold, the stain got here out! ... I easily have used this on commonplace oil stains that my hubby were given on jeans replacing oil on the mower besides as oil-depending food stains (like bbq and chili and etc) and characteristic had both strong success. wish it extremely works for you. chuffed laundering!
