I have the outside unit, line sets, and thermostat and will be using it in conjunction with my oil fired forced hot air furnace. Do I need coils for my furnace? I will also be using it for AC in the summer.

you need a condensing unit (outdoor) an evaperator unit (indoor)
you need fresh brand new copper pipes to connect the two.
it has nothing to do with your furnace.
in the uk you need a gas handling qualification to work with the refrigerant (its illegal to do it without)
you also need a lot of specialist tools to carry out the install vac pump, nitrogen test gear, vac gauge, flaring tools/welding gear ,all of wich are expensive so i reccomend getting someone to do it for you

Yeah, you need a coil unit for the air handler. No way for it to work without one!

Get an HVAC pro to install it. It's NOT a DIY job.

You will need a EPA universal refrigeration licence or you will get a $10,000.00 fine if you get caught. Hire a qualified person to do it
