lol - first time I ever heard of this "trend" (or indeed the phrase) was ten years ago and a Scottish female friend of mine. She explained it, then dashed off, explaining that the camel was bleeding. Special girl, my pal!
Don't know if it's especially attractive, but it's not an especial turn-off either. Just fun and free and...well, frankly much more fun than any part of a real camel!
