Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but Verizon will not waive the ETF because your moving. You Mom signed the contract with Verizon. In that contract, Verizon states they CAN NOT guarantee service everywhere. Your Mom has signed the contract for a family plan so you are stuck, it is not there fault you are going where they dont have service. They are not waiving the ETF for military personal stationed in Iraq, I really wouldn't have much hope they will bend the rules for you. Good luck though
Cheers

Alaska University...maybe?

Verizon would have no legal obligation to release you from the contract because you are moving out of their coverage.

I have read some people have had success at doing this, so good luck.

Adirondacks. My family has a summer house there and we never ever get coverage. Hope I could help!
