Try laundry soap, like liquid tide first and pour it right on the spot and scrub with a cloth. If that doesnt work, try anything that has alchohol in it. Aquanet Hairspray, or Lysol...(.maybe even rubbing alchohol would work, but I've never tried it.) You will want to start by dabbing it until it is almost gone then you can scrub a little more. I don't know how old your daughter is, but if she is old enough you should have her do the majority of the work, while you supervise her. I learned that this helps them learn why they should be extremely careful with markers. It is time consuming to clean up ink, so they won't want to get stuck doing it again. I hope you find something that works.
I know that the product called Resolve, has worked at getting all types of food and pop stains out of my beige carpet before , but I'm not sure if it works on ink, you can look on the bottle and check, because if it does, I know it did a great job on other kinds of stains fairly quick.

All of the above tips are good. Just wanted to add that if it's an indelible marker there's pretty much no way to get it out. Cover with a throw rug and live with it.

digital aspects spray works fairly good and if that dosn't artwork, you are able to try Brake-sparkling. both might want to be offered at any automobile or electronics keep. First try the digital purifier. you are able to also try somewhat WD-40. keep in options, continuously try the spray on a small section it really is basically no longer considered in undeniable view, in case it may eliminate the colour or dye of the carpet. ( maximum probably it received't )

to remove ink or magic marker, use hair spray (the cheaper the better), rubbing alcohol, or for really tough spots, denatured alcohol from the hardware store. always spot carefully, trying to do just the spot.
