Call your OB for advice. Drink Decaf tea, eat warm soup and get lots of rest. Feel better.

I'm in the exact same boat as you right now. I'm hacking up a lung as I type...yuck.
I've been taking Sudafed with the sinus headache relief. It does help but not a lot. (safe and recommended by my dr.)
I've also been taking "pectin" lozenges which are completely safe.
The other things that have worked great for me are spicy soups (very spicy) and very minty things. I tried some cocoa with peppermint oil and felt like a million bucks for about an hour.
I know it's hard but hang in there. We will both get through it....
cough cough.

Do not take asprin that is harmful some non med relief try Vicks vapor rub on chest/back if congested or hot herbal tea. Also a vaporizer will help but I would ask your doctor what to take for meds as some are not good when pregnant.

DON'T TAKE ANYTHING until you contact your ob or midwife!
There are a lot of over the counter things that are dangerous to your baby - ESPECIALLY HERBS! Herbs are not regulated by the FDA and I would especially stay away from them.
When you are pregnant, all medical issues, including colds, can be treated by your ob/midwife. I called about similar issues with both of my pregnancies and they called in prescriptions that fixed me right up.

Try taking Echinacea, it is a natural herbal supplement that helps build the immune system. You are supposed to take it before the onset of a cold but I have had success by taking it when I feel one coming on but check with your Dr before taking it just like you would with any other med while you are pregnant.

Well I would call your doctor . I know i have been sick and that is the only 2 over the counter medicine they recommended . You might have some type of infection that can be treated with an antibiotic .

robatussin dm and benadryl will at least get you some sleep. You can take both of those with your tylenol and sudafed. I had 2 terrible colds when I was pregnant

Stop with the Meds for a while. Take some warm herbal tea, and make warm compresses for your face and chest.
Drink broth. One thing to try is a humidifier and some vix, let it steam around your head.
