It's insane.

First, he's the son of a former president. Why vote someone in on privilege?

Secondly, he was totally reactive to 9/11. Instead of showing the world that the U.S. doesn't stoop to that level, he goes and tries to get revenge.

Thirdly, instead of exacting revenge on the people who committed the crime, he lets people who may have key info. on these people out of the country, then he goes for the Taliban in Afghanistan, then Hussein in Iraq. Not Bin Laden.

Fourthly, he gets re-elected just marginally, and starts talking about how much of a mandate he has.

Fifthly, he continues sending people to their deaths, pretending this is doing something positive for the U.S.

Sixthly, he starts using veto power instead of letting the U.S. government decide things democratically.

Seventhly, I have to write this.

Oh, yeah. And he literally wants to put a wall around the country. At least on the southern border. Canadians just get grilled for doing a bit of cross-border shopping.

We can't can him because of the same reason that Iranians aren't canning their president or why most countries rarely can theirs. They have the power to vote in a president and if they don't like him, they can vote him out. You may hate Bush, but the American people voted for him for re-election.

If Bush really was that bad, maybe America shouldn't have re-elected him. That's how you can him.

A good many of us know this. We have worked very hard to get him OUT!!! He wasn't elected in the first place, but don't be surprised if brother Jeb appears as a candidate in '08.

AND btw, a good deal of what you described comes from a "Texas" mentality, which is often not supported by the rest of the Union.

Peace.

P.S. Is "fifthly" a word?
P.S.S. I guess it must be, it made it through spell checker.

I think most Americans do see what a terrible job he is doing. Maybe now that we have a Democratically controlled House and Senate they can reign in his wacked-out behavior.

Well, in all fairness the american people voted in al gore the first time and john kerry the second time but the bushes cheated by buying off the electoral college.

The current President is an embarrasment.

Most Americans are very aware of this at this point.

Since he is our president I think we have the right to be proud of him and commend him for doing the best job he knows how.
