Most new laptops have internal wireless equiptment (antenna and so on)...if you find a "hot spot" and it is not a secure connection you should be able to connect without anything else.

it is only with broadband "anywhere" connection wireless you have to pay for the subscription and and the small reciver you plug into your side port.

You should be able to connect wirelessly at most WiFi hotspots. Some do require that you create a connection, others will connect reletively quickly. You must have a wireless card in your laptop in order to connect. Most laptops come with this already installed, but not all do.

if u have wireless on yr laptop-most new ones have it.
and if the hotspot does not have a password.
