My fiancee is a great guy...but quite frankly he has NO sense
For example, someone on the road in front of him stopped in order to let someone turn onto the same road that we were on. My boyfriend passed the guy that stopped. When I yelled at him for being rude...he asked me "what are you talking about."
**Thats just one example.
I truley believe that he does not do this on purpose, but that he really doesnt know any better.
I'm not a trickey girl. If something upsets me, I come right out and say "Look, I'm getting angry". He doesnt seem to get it though. He does the same things over and over again and it comes to the point where I scream and yell about it becuase I dont know how else to show him I'm angry.
We have talked about it and he knows that he 'doesnt get it' He really isnt a bad guy... and I know that in the end I'll have to just accept the fact that he has no common sense.
Is there anything I can do to help him thoug?(not just with our relationship..but with life?

It depends on what you call common sense.
Common sense is of course made through experience in life.
But there is a fact and that is unless we believe heartedly that what we are doing is wrong we will no change ourselves.
And changing isn’t a short process you must make him believe that his ways are wrong and have patience and stay besides him so he would have more encouragement to do it.
Good luck!

Don't marry him. Your post sounds extremely familiar. I am a man and my wife has LESS THAN no common sense. Just plain idiotic most of the time and it makes me so angry. I looked past that like you are attempting to do, and married her 8 years ago anyway. We have kids and divorce is out of the question for me. So I feel extremely frustrated and angry all the time because there is nothing i can do about her lack of simple basic judgment. He terrible decisions she makes causes a daily strain. I thought love was the most important thing. I never put a high premium on common sense. I know better now. Lack of common sense can/will screw up you entire marriage. I can't even stand to talk to my wife sometimes because something boneheaded almost always comes out of her mouth. I love her, but i can't deny the truth.....she has LESS THAN no common sense. do yourself a favor and move on.

you cant teach common sense. If you could there would probably be alot more of it going around. Sounds to me like he just plain doesnt care about your concerns. You say you are getting upset about something and he just blows it off. Jerk. Im sick of men

Common sense develops over a whole life time, if it isnt at least moderately developed by the time theyre an adult I dont hink there is much hope!

You can't really teach common sense. About all you can do is try to steer them in the right direction - and you must do this carefully or they will just think you are trying to change their way of thinking to your way of thinking (and they will resent that).

You can't teach common sense, thats why its called 'common' sense because its something you should naturally have.
My friend is smart but has no common sense, it often leads him to lose marks on his university work because his misses obvious things.

Your example specified more of a manner than common sense. You certainly can beat some common sense into him or manner if that matter.

Nope..
Common Sense is not nearly as common as one might think and
it cannot be taught or learned...
It does not sound like you have a future with this guy...

according to my perceptions..no , and i don't think it can be taught either. a multitude of things has to happen i think for some people to "get it".nature or nurture..maybe a bit of both with a dash of iq and personality... try and change a whole lifetime of the "way" he thinks will be impossible as it is for him, as it is for you to try and not get it... ya either have it or ya dont i imagine.. hope that helps..hehe ;)

Not that I am aware of. Sounds like he will end up making you crazy if you continue to deal with him.
