However, the book Fifty Shades of Grey has outsold the best selling Harry Potter book (Deathly Hallows), so there is some truth there. It's supposed to be cooler in the shade. 99 degrees is a very hot temperature. So if you are in the shade and it is 99 degrees, it's very very hot outside.
