could the Creveland Browns have become a dinasty?

in the early 90's bill belichick was the coach of the browns, if he would've picked a different defensive co. than that weasel nick saban would they have had a better winning record? i mean their record wasn't very bad the last few seasons before they left for baltimore. at least not as bad as it is now. if they didn't have the t.o. of coaches they probably would've had a better record.
the team never moves to baltimore. belichick develops as one of the best coaches in history. browns dinasty.

hey djcanada learn what words mean. "most historic" simply means they have through more, not that they have been more successful. besides those browns, are in baltimore. maybe jim should change his name to Jim Raven.

Modell was the reason they moved, not Belichick. Many Browns fans, including myself, thought that they had a great chance to make another playoff run in the '95 season. They were 4-4 midway through the season when Modell announced he was moving the team, which pretty much destroyed any playoff hopes.

If you look at the records for the Ravens' first few seasons, they were pretty much a middle-of-the-pack team. I think they would have done ok and made a few more playoff appearances, but nothing resembling a dynasty.

First of all learn how to spell Cleveland. The Browns are one of the most historic teams in the NFL. Durring the AAFC years we won all 4 AAFC Championships 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949 and 4 NFL Chamionships 1950, 1954, 1955, 1964. Art Model is why the team has not been doing well that f*****. I think it's just a matter of time before the team get's back to it's winning ways and brings a championship back to cleveland. I hope. ;)
