Yep, I was so depressed and he turned my life around. Showed me that not everything in life is bad. It really had a big impact on me and I'm so thankful he got to me before I did something really stupid.

I met a lady on RSA-Overseas , at first we only kept in contact by sending e.mails to each other. Her husband has bone-cancer, she is in a wheel-chair and she takes care of her husband as well as doing house-chores. She never complain's , she is always smiling even though her life is so full of complications and pain. She has made me see that not having the perfect figure and moaning about it , being so ungrateful that i have two legs to stand on and being healthy should not be taken for-granted . I admire and respect her and thank her for making me see just how ungrateful i was. Thank you Merilyn:))))

Fortunately I have. Been friends with him for 14 years and I simply adore him. He always says that my life is like a soap or a novel...nothing ever runs smoothly but you know what? He takes it all, wheat and chaff together, keeps what is worth keeping and with a breath of kindness blows away all that is not good for me, then hands the rest back to me with love. He always makes me laugh at myself, my situations and loves me totally for who I am. He is in my life and I thank god for that every day, I am one lucky girl.

yes, i do. My friend told me how he thinks of life in his own perspective...i compared his point of view with mines. I used to see life as a normal thing, not a biggie. But after all I've been through and stuff, i hated my life...i once tried to commit suicide, but that friend showed me the other image of life. she told me that life is a game, you should play good to win a game, u should play your role in life to win. Also, to have a piece of the great Pie (life) you should help bake it.....in other words, give life, life will return something back to u

Of course, we all have people in our lives who make an impact on the way we see life, good or bad.

Yes, a mate, somewhat older than me, who could always provide a novel slant on a situation. Whilst I was busy emoting, he would throw in an off the wall comment that would stop me in my tracks.
I found myself being more thorough in my thinking, and remain so.
Way to go Brian!!!

I think over the course of life, we run into many people who help us fine tune (or sometimes not so fine tune) our perspectives, good relationships, bad relationships, and all.
