I always believe that Ganguly is not only a good player but he has got great attitude and temperament. You can feel the energy around him. For example look at sahwag's catches in this series and Srisanth.
Before ganguly's captaincy the Indian team was never used to answer slangs or give the tit-for-tat answers. But with him as captain we witnessed a whole new era. A team with great attitude. A never say die kind of team.
Sourav Ganguly was fired for bad form not for bad captaincy. Isn't it? Now as he is back in form he should get is captaincy back.
Guru Greg is here for only one goal and that is to win world cup 2007...... for Australia of course. He has almost succeeded. He has failed in everything he has done yet. Every player he pushed forward has flopped. Look at his career as coach before india. He has done coaching for some B'grade teams in australia with no significant success.
He has appointed some of his friends as support staff as bio-mechanics and whatever, but not a bowling coach or fielding coach.
But Greg is not guilty. It is our BCCI. Who ruined the party. The inside politics of Dalmias and Bindras and modis and dungarpurs and shahs... list goes on.
Dilip Vengsarkar has shown some positive vibes. Hope he will be able do is job properly.

Yes hes had a very good series so far and is scoring quite quickly as well with an average strike rate of around 78. Its good to see him play like this when critics had already written him off saying that being 34 it was hard for him to return to the game. Go Saurav Dada you rock.

I'm a sri lankan and yeah saurav proved who he is and he was the only person to do well in bat in SA.He has been very positive.34 is not old.Then look at jayasuriya.He also went through a bad period of time because of sri lankan politics.But he was positive and strong enough to reach the team when others didnt want him and to show his colours at the age of 37.
So saurav is not far away.I wish him best of luck for the world cup!

I m always of the opinion that Ganguly is the best player for India, But poor guy has suffered because of dirty politics..BCCI should give him a chance of captaincy for world cup too, because though Dravid is a good player but not a good captain!! and this time india needs a good leadership.

He proved that he can perform under pressure when people were critical of his game. He looks to be back in form and would probably be India's most valuable player for the World Cup.

thats a very good sign for sinking indian cricket tem when all the batsmen have failed to prove themselves. Moreover he wud have gained too much of confidence and made a tight slap on critics chick.
