Just stay out of it and be there to comfort your cousin as this tough time goes by. Your cousin will find out soon enough. It isn't important that you be "right" but "kind".

Let your cousin find this out from her parents, of you tell her she may get angry with you just because you told her. Divorce is hard, be there for her as a shoulder to cry on when her parents tell her it is being sold.

i really agree with wtc brad on this one. i think that you will probably be privileged to find out more information through the family grapevine, but you should sit on some of the information that you know. let her parents tell her the news not you. they need to tell her in their own time and own way. you just be the shoulder for her to cry on. that way you stay out of the fracas. also when you repeat stuff that you heard, you are not actually hearing it word for word and it may not be accurate and you don't want to cause you cuz unneccary pain more than she will be in already. just be there for her cause she is lucky to have a caring cuz like you!
